The service is run by an experienced journalist who started out as a motoring writer in 1987 when he was working at a local newspaper.

He went on to become News Editor and Deputy Chief Sub within a regional newspaper group before becoming a freelance motoring journalist.

He is qualified by the NCTJ (National Council for the Training of Journalists), holds a media-based BA (Hons) degree from the University of Westminster and also a PGCE in English from Southampton University.
